ABOUT US

Welcome to De Nachtwacht restaurant. 

Think of us as a typical Amsterdam home, but with the best steaks and ribs in town leaving the kitchen, served by our friendly staff. You're welcome to just hang out at the bar and drink a beer too. Come visit us, we're open every day, till midnight.

We buy most of our meat from Dutch farmers. By doing so, we can keep an eye on how the cows are fed and in which fields they are kept. Most of our meat comes from the Dutch Black Angus cow from Palmesteyn in the Betuwe area. 

These cows stay graze outside for long periods of time, which results in a nice and delicate texture of their meat. Furthermore, slow aging makes it a tender.

Together with the kitchen team, you ensure that guests lack nothing. Your goal is high satisfaction. You prepare a good mise en place and make sure dishes are served with quality and care. You will provide the tastiest dishes throughout the day. From a well-filled salad, a hearty steak to a tasty soup, nothing is too crazy for you!
